Authorities have made an arrest in the shooting death of rapper Takeoff.
Houston Police Chief Troy Finner announced at a press conference Friday (02.12.22) that 33-year-old Patrick Xavier Clark, who was arrested Thursday night on the east side of Houston, Texas, has been charged with murder. (01.12.22)
Houston Police Chief Michael Burrow, who used ballistics evidence, physical evidence and reconstruction of the shooting, identified Clark as the “fatal shooter in this case.”
Police also arrested another man, Cameron Joshua, 22, who has been charged with illegal possession of a weapon in connection with the shooting.
According to court documents obtained by TMZ, Clark’s bail was set at $1 million.
If he is granted bail, prosecutors want him placed under house arrest and barred from speaking to Takeoff’s family, J Prince Jr. and his family, as well as Shakur Stevenson and his employees.
Kirsnick, born Hari Ball, was shot and killed at the age of 28 on November 1st after an argument at a Houston bowling alley.
