Giannis Antetokounmpo’s free-throw struggles are back in full effect this season, and so are his pre-shooting drills. Prior to Friday, Giannis had 10 seconds of foul play and had not been called once this season.

That changed against the Lakers, who beat the Bucks 133-129. The foul occurred with just over a minute left in the third quarter.

It’s a sudden upward motion, similar to Giannis’ free throw when Russell Westbrook got his own foul called while lobbying for a 10-second call early in the game.

Giannis gets another free throw for the foul, which prompts Westbrook to yell “one thousand one, one thousand two, one thousand three…” as Giannis goes to deliver his score to the officials in theatrical fashion.

Westbrook didn’t get his way on that try, but the officials later picked up Giannis. Most importantly for Westbrook and the Lakers, he was defeated behind another monster performance from Anthony Davis.
