Sally Field has called Burt Reynolds the “worst” on-screen kisser.
The 76-year-old Oscar-winner was embarrassed when a viewer on Thursday’s (02.12.22) episode of What Happens Live asked her to explain who the late ‘Smoke and Thug’ actor was and who she dated. his least favorite movie.
He asked: “Shall I name names here?” Host Andy Cohen: “I think you should.”
Sally continued: “Well, this is going to shock. Hold on, folks. Burt Reynolds.
“It wasn’t something he did very well. I could go into detail, but you don’t want to hear it.”
When Andy asked if Burt, the Boogie Nights actor who died of a heart attack in September 2018 aged 82, used too much ‘tongue’, Sally explained: ‘It was just drooling’.
Sally, who was in a relationship with Burt from 1976 to 1982, told Page 6 after the Hollywood veteran’s death: “There are times in your life…that never go away.
“They will still be alive after 40 years. I will never forget the years I spent with Burt.
“He will be in my story and in my heart as long as I live. Take it easy, my friend.”
She also spoke about their time together on ‘Good Morning America’: ‘Four days felt like four years… we were so entangled.
“That nature is not just, ‘Oh, it’s a love affair.’
“There was some component between us that I cared about that needed to be taken care of.”
