If the kids are looking for someone to talk to Santa Claus about, look no further than River North and the park.
All four NOR locations have holiday mailboxes where you can send letters directly to St. Nick yourself.
The district will “by special arrangement” send mailboxes to sex workers of all ages until Dec. 20. Those hoping to hear back should leave a legible return address in your letter no later than Thursday, December 15th.
“Bringing the holiday magic into your home is easy with the River North program,” NOR General Manager Monya Jameson said in a news release. “Create family memories together – write a letter, write a wish list, or draw a picture! We’ll have Santa receive it; he might even send you a letter in return!”
The big red mailbox outside the RiverLakes Ranch Community Center at 3825 Riverlakes Drive is always open for mail.
Three NOR Community Centers — Greenacres Community Center, 2014 Calloway Drive; Rasmussen Senior Center, 115 E Roberts Lane; and Riverview Community Center, 401 Willow Drive — and a post office box from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
