Want to discover a DNA sport that is more vibrant than highly academic tennis? Try it padel. As of March 30, 2022,Cergy-Pontoise Island (Val-d’Oise) renews every Wednesday from 17:00 to 18:00 the free initiatives dedicated to this sport with the tennis racket. Directly from Spain where his popularity is well established, padel landed in July 2019 on the leisure island. To never leave again.
Lighter balls, rockets and ground in reduced formats, glass walls at the back of the field and netting on the sides against which you can play in the pumpkin pattern … On the pad, the strokes are different, but the rules remain very similar to those tennis. One jump, two winning sets of six matches… The only difference: the service is done with a spoon.
Easier to access than its first cousin, the padel does not require a wide technical background to have fun. You can quickly enjoy fun without going through a long and tedious learning process.
